Live in the Present

Sometimes we get so bagged down with pursuing the knowledge of our ancestral past and focusing on the injustice that they endured that we neglect to appreciate who we are now and make strides to ensure that the past does not repeat itself.  

We pursue religious practices that further drive us further from discovering the truth about EVERYTHING we've been taught and our lives reflect a miserable existence. The truth is about breaking away from religion, learning and understanding your ancestral history, then discovering who you truly are and fulfilling your life purpose. 

Don't get so engrossed in the past that you neglect to live in the present. I'm just saying - I got issues, what about you?)i(

Senomyx

I came across some disturbing information that I just had to share. Have you ever heard of Senomyx? I hadn't until recently. According to Wikipedia: Senomyx is an American biotechnology company working toward developing additives to amplify certain flavors and smells in foods.

Headquarters: San Diego, California, USA
Founder: Lubert Stryer, Paul Nevsky

Unfortunately I heard that they have started using aborted human fetuses to enhance the flavor in many of the foods and drinks on the market today. More disturbing is that they have allegedly been doing it for some time now. 

I encourage you to take a minute or two to research this. You may be surprised how many of those products are in your home and/or you have consumed. It may or may not matter to you. Just thought I would share. I'm just saying - I got issues, what about you?)i(

Feel Good If Not Great

Hello sunshine. Just dropped by to encourage you. Life can be challenging at times. It's not the stuff that comes at you that you need to focus on. It's how you respond to them that can be the deal breaker. No matter what pops up today purpose to embrace it with love and compassion. 

Know that whatever it is, it won't last forever. If it's a person remember their behavior has nothing to do with you. They are just exhibiting what they are feeling inside. Your only job is to feel good if not great. 

Don't give them any energy. Do or think on something that makes you feel good. As you do that your focus becomes you and not them. I'm just saying - I got issues, what about you?)i(

Consciousness Tip: Some People Are Contented with Unhappiness

Some people are contented with their discontentment. Meaning they are unhappy with their life but won't do anything about it. They want more out of life and want to be/do more but instead of doing something about it they just grip and moan about it. 

Even if you offer advice on how they can improve their situation, they give 20 reasons why it won't work. Don't waste your time or breathe. 

When they get tired of being "sick and tired" of their situation they "may" do something about it. In the meantime keep living your life. 

Keep reaching for higher heights and deeper depths because there is so much more knowledge and power waiting for you. IJS - I got issues, what about you?)i(

Religion: Fact or Fiction - You be the Judge

Hey there. I must admit that this post was triggered by a WhatsApp message I recently saw. It was a story about a mother who rescued her son from a burning building and got scarred in the process. The story goes on to share how the child grew up into a powerful man but was ashamed of his scarred mom so he excluded her from a public event. The story then goes on to compare the characters in the story with how the reader threats Jesus. It ends with the writer asking for an opinion to which I responded: 

"You asked for my opinion. So here it is.  My response is simply for you to research religion and you will find that we were given a religion by people who enslaved our ancestors to serve an entity that looks like and resemble them. It may be difficult for you to hear this. I know cause it was for me the first time I heard it. However I challenge you to research for yourself and you will find, both from a historical view point and a biblical view point, the many flaws in what we have been taught.  Starting with the fact that there was no letter "j" in the English language before the year 1611. So if there was no "J" before 1611 and The Creator existed before time itself, what was His/Her name? Something to think about. I'm interested in knowing what else you find out.

Personally, I'm on a quest to discovering the truth about EVERYTHING I was taught. I threw everything up in the air and the only thing that stuck is that there is a Creator. Everything else is up for debate because they are just things that was told/taught to me. Everyday I discover more truth and I've become a better person for it.  We've been exploited to believe in something outside of ourselves when the truth is the power lies within us. My life now speaks volume as I walk in my power. Namaste." It's easy to get caught up in other people's belief. How about exploring what you believe in for a change. You might be surprised at just what those are. I'm just saying - I got issues, what about you?)i(

Karma is a Bitch

Just stopped by to encourage you to be vigilant. I was driving yesterday when a car pulled out in front of me unexpectedly. I had to slam on my brakes to avoid hitting it. Within seconds someone returned the favor to that person. I'm telling you the universe is always watching. For every action there is a consequence.

It happens sometimes right away. And sometimes you have to wait a little bit. But as sure as my name is Yáminah it always comes back to you. So do good to people.  Treat people how you would like to be treated. Don't cut them off in traffic because someone will return the favor and at times in spades. I'm just saying - I got issues, what about you?)i(

Consciousness Tip: It All begins In Your Mind

As a society we have been conditioned to operate out of fear. We are motivated to action on what might happen, ie get health insurance in case you get sick, get home alarm in case someone brakes in, etc. Doctors tell us that we are prone to certain diseases because it "runs" in our family. Some women have not been able to have children because someone planted a seed of fear/doubt in their mind that they can not conceive. 

Some people are struggling with health issues because they believe it runs in their family and sure enough it came upon them. EVERYTHING you believe manifests itself in your life - good or bad. Your success or failure begins in your mind. If you believe you will be successful regardless of the task, you will be successful. Likewise if you believe you will not be successful, that will be your reality. 

Do yourself a favor and start believing you will be successful no matter the circumstance. Regardless of what people may say or how the situation may look, if you believe it is possible it will manifest. 

Stop letting fear and people's opinion dictate your level of success. Dare to have and do the impossible. Start believing in you. I'm just saying, I got issues - what about you?)i(
