MARTA - A Call for Action

Right now, MARTA has rolled out a new system, and they’re issuing updated breeze cards, requiring all passengers to transfer funds from their old cards to the new ones. While MARTA has given until October 2026 to make the switch, the expectation is that people do it online—registering and transferring funds themselves. But here’s the crisis: there are still segment of the population who may not have access to the internet. Many seniors and vulnerable citizens don’t have internet access and can’t complete this process. When they call MARTA to do the transfer, they’re being told they HAVE TO go online to complete the transaction themselves or to ask someone they know to help them do it. This leaves them stranded, confused, and frustrated. When they tell the representative that they don't have the capability to do that, the rep will take the information but will share that they dont know when the transfer will happen. For many, that is not acceptable. They need the funds transfered so they can use the new card, especially since the old card may no longer work.

MARTA, we need you to step up. Screen calls, prioritize seniors, and others who don't have access to do it themselves and provide a human touch so no one is left behind in this crucial transition. We’re counting on you. I'm just saying, #igotissues. What about you?

Be a deliberate creator

Hey beautiful people! It’s another beautiful day here in the ATL, and I just had to stop by and share some love. 💛

Life can be challenging, but remember this: whatever is manifesting in your reality, you created it. You are the creator of your experiences—through your thoughts, your expectations, and, most importantly, how you feel.

Most people create by default. They believe other people or circumstances are responsible for what happens to them. But the truth is: no one “does you” anything—short of putting their hands on you. Words and actions only have power if you give them power. It’s all about how you choose to interpret things.

Someone calls you a derogatory name—you have a choice. You can hang your head and feel bad or mad, or you can lift your head, smile, and know that just because they said it, it doesn’t make it true. The choice is yours.

Here’s something else people get wrong: repeating positive affirmations is not the magic key to manifesting. If it were, we’d see more people manifesting their dreams. Think about it—how many folks walk around claiming to be “blessed and highly favored” while their lives are a mess? That’s because your feelings, not your words, set the tone for what shows up in your life.

Want to know what you’re creating? Check your feelings. Feeling down, sad, overwhelmed, or brokenhearted? You’re drawing negative outcomes. Feeling joyful, optimistic, happy, or content? You’re drawing positive outcomes. Yes—it really is that simple.

It’s about how you feel. Manage your feelings, and you’ll master the art of creating. You don’t have to spend all day thinking positive thoughts—especially when life bombards you with challenges. The best thing you can do is focus on feeling good, if not great, and watch your experiences shift.

In every situation, no matter how heavy, try to see the good. If you can’t, go to another place in your mind where you can feel good. Shut out the world, go inside yourself, and make yourself feel good.

And if that doesn’t work… maybe it’s time for a deeper emotional detox. I'm just saying,  #igotissues. What about you?

When “3-Day Priority” Becomes a 3-Week Mystery: My Ongoing USPS Saga

If you’ve ever mailed something with the U.S. Postal Service and trusted their “Priority 3-Day” promise, you probably expect your package to actually arrive in three days. I did too — until I mailed a box to myself from St. Croix, Virgin Islands on July 26th. As of today, it still hasn’t reached me.

Tracking shows it’s stuck in Puerto Rico, caught in what feels like a delivery purgatory. This isn’t my first time dealing with this kind of delay, and sadly, I’m not alone. Many people in St. Croix have had the same frustrating experience — packages from Amazon, Walmart, and other retailers either go missing or languish in transit for weeks.

What’s worse, the USPS charged me for “Priority” shipping, but when the service isn’t delivered on time, they aren’t exactly quick to offer a refund. Instead, they ask for an itemized list of the box’s contents — receipts included — before even considering a claim. That’s a problem when some of the items are older and don’t have receipts. Even though the box is insured, I’m left wondering: will I ever see those items again, or get fair reimbursement if I don’t?

For me, this isn’t just about the money. It’s about accountability. If a shipping company promises a delivery window and charges a premium for it, they should be held to that standard. People should be able to trust that their packages will arrive safely and on time — without disappearing into a logistical black hole somewhere between islands.

The Postmaster needs to take this ongoing issue seriously. This isn’t just one lost box; it’s part of a pattern that’s hurting residents, businesses, and the island’s connection to the rest of the country. Until changes are made, every package feels like a gamble — and the house is winning far too often. I'm just saying,  ##igotissues.  What about you? 🦋

Missing Package from USPS in Puerto Rico

it's a growing concern that packages going through the Puerto Rico Postal Distribution Center are going missing. I recently mailed a box priority mail from St. Croix to myself in Atlanta. It was to arrive in 3 days. So far, it has not yet arrived. The delivery notification says my package is still in transit to the next facility. It's been saying that for over a week now.

In scrolling through my Facebook news feed, I came across a post from Grantley Samuel, who is also experiencing difficulty receiving a package. After reading most of the 90 comments, it became evident that these are not isolated cases. There seems to be a trend with missing packages from the Puerto Rico Distribution Center. 

This issue could very well impact resident's ability to order products stateside as companies may decide it is not cost effective to continue mailing items to the US Virgin Islands. This issue reminds me of a time, some years ago, when a trailer full of mail and packages thought to be lost,  was found years later sitting on the Puerto Rico Postal Distribution Center's property.

Spiritual Awareness

Spiritual awakening is an individual experience and everyone's path is unique. Spiritual awareness is also an individual journey that should be personally experienced. Unfortunately, not too many people understand that, and they never make the distinction between what was taught to them and them actually experiencing it for themselves. They blindly believe the stories told to them or what they read in the Bible without questioning any of it. They re-live other people's experiences, i.e., Jesus, Moses, Peter, Paul etc. instead of living their own experience. 

My spiritual awakening  began in 2006 when I was exposed to the book The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. That little book answered so many questions I had about religion even though it was not outrightly based on religion. My subconscious being showed me things in that book and made it relative to the questions I had. Like what is faith, and how do you exercise it? Scripture says in Hebrews 11:1 – “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." But scripture also says in James 2:14 "Faith without works is dead". And I was taught that if you try to make it happen, it's not faith. So as you can imagine I was confused. How do I exercise faith? What is the "work" needed to manifest it? How do I exercise "believing"? No one ever taught me how. That revelation started my quest to find out the truth about everything I was taught about faith and religion. The answers would eventually fuel my desire to seek the truth about EVERYTHING I was taught. 

I threw everything I was taught up in the air, and the only thing that stuck was that there was a Creator.  Everything else was up for scrutiny. As I did my research, I uncovered many deceptions in what was taught to me as truth. My inner being would lead me down a path to uncover the hidden truths that were mingled within the lies. One by one stuff was revealed, a lot of which came from within. The more I searched, the more I learned more truths, but the odd thing was everything kept directing me to look within myself. Everything pushed me to the desire to know who I was. That was the missing link. I had no clue who I was outside of what I was taught to believe who I was. I discovered I was not that person but someone miraculous and more exquisite than I could have ever imagined. I discovered that my false perception of myself was hindering me from seeing the truth of who I am. That I was God manifested in the flesh. That we are all the manifestation of God's spirit in the flesh and are connected in ways we could not phantom.  But because we are consciously asleep, we have forgotten who we are. We assimilate and conform to the teaching of this realm though our parents, teachers, elders, society's infrastructure and our experiences. We continuously perpetuate the lie and illusion that we are mere mortals with no power and thus become just that. We become pawns in this game called Life not knowing we can become masters. We allow others who have knowledge of how to manipulate this realm to control and guide us like sheeps lead astray. What we fail to realize is that we are spiritual beings with incredible powers and that we came here for the experience of having a body and to learn life's lessons. Once you become spiritually awake you become a goat firging forward to explore your own path. You get on the path to becoming a Master of your life instead of staying a mere Pawn. Over time, you begin to get the hang of things and you become the Master of your life.  

The good news is that the Creator installed a fail safe in all of us. This means that over time, as we repeat the cycle of death and rebirth, eventually we begin to remember who we are and work towards liberation from rebirth. I know I have lived many lives before. The memories are stored in my subconscious, which is revealed to me in increments as I meditate daily. There are skills I possess that I have no formal training for, but I execute flawlessly. There are things I know that were not taught to me, yet the knowledge flows freely. As I allow myself to surrender to my inner being and higher self, revelations are shown to me that I myself should never know but do. Like where to serve my ex-husband divorce papers 17 years ago. To this day he still believes I hired someone to follow him. Ehat he does not know is that my higher being showed me where he was in a vision.

Among other things, people's true nature is revealed to me. I can see through their facade and see the real them. I know when people are being genuine and when they are just pretending to like me so they can reap the benefit of my friendship. I can tell when the words they speak are from their heart or if they are just regurgitating what someone else's insecurities. I dont have to call them out on it. I can love and interact with them because i know the truth about who they are - the manifestation of God's spirit. 

I'm also an empath. That means I can feel people's spirit and they feel mines. My spirit agitate some people to the point that they don't like being around me but can't really say why not. And thats okay. I no longer take these things personally or try to adjust who i am to suit their insecurities because I know the truth about who I am. To My core, I am caring and wish only the best for everyone, even the ones who don't like me. Truth is I reflect something that is missing in them and that irritates them to no end. So I no longer waste time trying to figure out how to get them to like me. That woukd mean changing who zi am to fit in and that is something I will never do ever again.

I don't pretend to be anything or anybody else - I am authentically me. I speak my truth without hesitation and I live my life like it is mines - free from the hang ups of how people perceive me and could care less of their judgement. 

Over time, my circle of friends keep getting smaller and that's okay. If it gets to the point where I am the only person standing in the circle that's alright with me because in that circle I will still have everything I need to live a fullfilling life. I will have Me, Myself, and I, and that is a winning combination.

Selfishness vs Self-centered

Hey this is Yaminah with another segment of I got issues.  Today I want to talk about selfishness and being self-centered. For a long time I was guilty of accusing people of being selfish. It was not until I got enlightened that I understood the difference. A person who is selfish tends to do or say whatever is necessary to secure whatever they want for themselves at the detriment of others. They don't care who they hurt in the process as long as they get what they want. I see that every day as people will cut you off in traffic in order to get over with no consideration as to whether they slam into you or you into them or someone else. 

On the other hand you have people who are self-centered. meaning they look out for themselves and put themselves first but they are not putting anyone else in danger as they focus on themselves. There is nothing wrong with that. Truth is you are no good to yourself or others if you are not taking care of yourself. Even on the airplane they admonish you to put on the oxygen mask first should the cabin lose pressure before attempting to help anyone else. 

We have become a society where self-centeredness is frowned upon and is being perceived as selfishness. That is an error in judgment. Just because some choose to put themselves first and focus on themselves does not make them selfish especially if their actions does not negatively affect anyone else. We all came here for the experience and we all have to learn to navigate this realm for yourself. Helping others is an option and should not be labeled as a requirement. The same opportunities afforded to one is available to all. So the next time you are tempted to accuse someone of being selfish, ask yourself who are they hurting? If the answer is no one then you should reconsider and think perhaps they are just self-centered. I'm just saying, I got issues. What about you,?)i(

This is an open message to Google. I would like to be able to call the US Virgin Islands from my Google Home Mini and Google Voice app without having to pay for it. I have called your customer service many times asking them to address this issue and they keep telling me that it is my cellphone carrier that is blocking the call. That is not true! I have been a T-Mobile customer for about six years and I am able to call the US Virgin Islands (area code 340) without any issues. So can please do the research and realize that Although the US Virgin Islands is in the Caribbean among the British Virgin Islands and other independent islands, they are a US Territory. The same President to run the United States runs the US Virgin Islands. The same laws that apply to the United States also apply to the US Virgin Islands. Calling the US Virgin Islands is just like calling any of the 48 Continental States. So can you please fix this issue? I'm just saying. I got issues. what about you?)i(

Vitamix Blender - Not metal friendly

 

This morning I made my breakfast smoothie as usual using my Vitamix blender. To clean it I add a bleach tab and warm sudsy water in the dish pan and then pour it into the blender as I tend to use that water as my dishwashing water afterwards. As the blender was engaged I heard a clicking sound and became quite concerned. When I examined the water as I poured it out I discovered bits and pieces of metal. Knowing that the only solid thing I put in the blender was the bleach tablet I immediately accused that was the culprit. "But how can that be?" I thought to myself. The bleach tablet is made of power. It got more confusing as I washed the dishes only to discover more metal particles that clearly was more than the bleach tablet. Still confused I continued to rinse and dry the dishes. That's when I noticed the cap to the mason jar was missing a lid. As I inspected the metal fragments I pulled from the dishwater I realized that they were in fact from that missing lid. Somehow I missed it while pouring the dishwater into the blender.

I bought the Vitamix years ago as an alternative to the juice machine as I realized I was loosing a lot of the nutrients in fruits and vegetables by using a juicer. Since the Vitamix came highly recommend as a source to grind those fibers into water consistency I was sold. Now I have discovered, purely by accident, that it can also blend metal I had to share. I don't think I will ever need to blend up metal but it's good to know. I'm just saying - I got issues, what about you?)i(

Life can be Great!!

Good morning FB family. It's a great day to be alive. Nothing remarkable going on in my world. I am just happy to see the sun. No doubt there are some who did not wake up today and even more will not see the new year. I don't ever take life for granted anymore. I am here for the experience. So while many are living to die, I choose to live period. Everyday I do what I can to extend my life span. Truth is once I discovered the key to living a stress-free life I am in no rush to leave this realm. Everyday is an adventure. I am no longer preoccupied with the mundane issues that used to de-rail my life. I have tapped into creation itself and it is such a beautiful thing. Life still presents its challenges and people still do their best to irritate me but the beauty of it is I no longer react to them. I choose what I want to focus on. 

For example, the other day I was driving with my granddaughter as my car is in the shop for over a month now (no worries) when she pointed out an accident in front of us at the corner of Covington hwy and Lithonia Industrial. I looked but did not see it. All I saw were cars waiting for the light to change. My granddaughter was dumbfounded that I could not see the car that had slammed into the side of a truck. As we banked the corner and she kept pointing out the accident eventually I saw it. I was amazed at how I am able to fine-tune my awareness to block out the things that do not serve me. My granddaughter was amazed as well. I did not want to miss this teachable moment so I shared with her that whatever you focus on becomes your reality. We are all creators in our own right but if you keep observing other people's manifested creations, you will no doubt make it your own and bring that experience to yourself. 

Case in point. A few weeks ago a friend of mine shared with me about the many accidents she saw while driving to work. Every time we spoke she made it a point to tell me about these various car accidents. I cautioned her to stop observing them or at best to not keep speaking about them or else she will draw it to herself. She did not listen to my admonishment. A few days after our last conversation she called to report that she totaled her car. I was not surprised.

The thing is, whether or not you subscribe to the belief that you draw the things you focus on to yourself or that you are a creator does not matter. Everyone does it either by default or on purpose. Being ignorant of the laws of the universe is no excuse. We all eventually manifest what we focus on. How quickly it manifests depends on how we feel about the thing we focus on. 

My suggestion to you is to try focusing on the good things but more importantly make feeling good your priority. Remember thoughts become things and you get what you expect. So always think good thoughts and always, always expect the best. I'm just saying. I got issues. What about you?)i(

TSA/Homeland Security Travel Restrictions

It's been over 20 years since 9/11 and yet we are still experiencing the aftermath of that tragedy. Some might even go so far as to say we are being victimized yet again. Especially when it comes to traveling. We all know that Homeland security and was created after 9/11 to help curtail the threat of another attack or at least that is what they would like us to believe. And TSA increased their strictness on what you can and cannot bring on an airplane for seemingly that same reason. I am all for increasing safety but my biggest issue is after all this time we still cannot bring water through security. So you're trying to tell me that TSA and Homeland security cannot figure out a way how to test water to determine whether or not it is an agent that can be used to bring down a plane? They pull out their little gadget to swab your hands and swab your suitcase when they suspect that you might have been handling bomb making material so why they can't develop something to determine whether or not your water is a solution that can be used to bring down the plane? To me the easiest way to test that is to just have people take a drink of their water. But we all know water is not the issue.

The issue is that 911 created an opportunity for airport vendors to capitalize on the restrictions. 

After 9/11 a lot of things were just ruled out as inadmissible to take on a plane. A lot of people's stuff was thrown away because they did not meet the three ounce requirement even though the container may say more than 3 oz you can clearly see that the item in the container was less than 3 oz but they just had you throw it away anyway. It's almost like they could not think for themselves. What TSA reps failed to understand is that guidelines are something that you use as a gauge. You have to use your own judgment to determine what fits and what doesn't fit. But like so many people today, they cannot think for themselves and have to rely on a script so to speak in order to do their jobs. I can't tell you how many times people have echoed that they have to throw away their food because a TSA agent determined that it was not suitable to go on the plane. I myself had to throw away food that you obviously can look at it and tell it is food and nothing that you can use to bring down a plane. 

Bottomline is after 21 years TSA and Homeland security needs to develop a formula to help determine whether or not our water is safe for consumption. It's not fair for us to have to pay $5 or $10 for a bottle of water at the airport when we could get that same bottle of water at a convenience store for a buck and a half. I'm just saying. Elections 2022

Across the country,, today November 8th, is Midterm Elections. Many may not go out to vote because they have lost faith in the system. I encourage you to go make your voices heard

Here in Georgia the Governor race between Stacey Abrams and Brian Kemp is at the forefront. Governor Kemp has launched a few ads claiming that Stacey Abrams blindly follows President Biden and is solely responsible for throwing America into recession. In fact he goes so far as to caution voters not to let Stacey Abrams do to Georgia what she did to America.

First off last time I checked Georgia was in America so if she damaged America, she damaged Georgia but we know that is not the case. secondly how can one woman have that much power? Especially when there are checks and balances in place to safeguard against such tyranny? Clearly Governor Kemp think people are stupid and won't question his remarks.

Listen, recession does not happen overnight. As a country we have been inching towards it for years. It just so happened that it came to existence during the Biden Administration. There is no way one person can cause a recession.

Governor Kemp has made some crucial decisions which have negatively impacted the quality of life for Georgians. He made it easy for criminals to carry a concealed weapon, he signed a no condition abortion bill, and made a fiscal of a stimulus program to aide the states needy families. His disregard for the safety and well-being of the people of Georgia is a public record.

Everyone is entitled to their views and opinions. There is no need to complain about the state of affairs if you are not willing to do anything about it. Whatever your motivation let it propel you to go out and vote. I'm just saying - I got issues. What about you?)(

Georgia's $350 Stimulus Payment - Card Unlocked

Governor Brian Kemp approved a one time $350 stimulus payment for Georgia's needy families ie anyone receiving SNAP, Medicaid, TANIF benefits before August 2022. The payment is issued on a virtual Mastercard if they are signed up for email notifications or an actual card will be mailed to them if they are signed up for mail notifications in the gateway system.

A number of people are still having issues accessing the funds on the card. I have discovered that one of the issues is that the card may be locked.

So let's say they get an email notification about the virtual card, they will need to click the link in the email which will take them to the online portal that they can view and activate the card. They will be promoted to enter their client ID and date of birth to gain access. Then they will be promoted to create a user name and pin for the account. Once that is done they can view the card number, expiration date, and CVV number which they can then enter into their Walmart, Google, or Apple pay.

The key thing that may be the main issue why a lot of people are not able to use the card is that it may be locked. In the portal there is a lock button on the profile. Make sure it is set to "unlock" otherwise it won't work.

I don't know why that feature is not set to "unlock" automatically or why it is even necessary but I am sure there is a valid reason for it. I just don't know what it is.

It just seems to me that this whole process could have been more simple if the state had just opted to do direct deposit or issue checks. There is no doubt in my mind that a lot of this money will go unclaimed either because people cannot access the card or they grow frustrated trying to use it to no avail. Auntie Anne's Pretzel

 

It's been years since I've had a pretzel from Auntie Anne's so today I decided to treat myself.  I was in the mall with a friend and I talked her into letting us have some pretzels as a treat. I was very disappointed in what we got. First the pretzels were noticeably thinner than I remember. They were also hard and dry. I know we are seeing an inflation with everything but the price we paid for what we got left a lot to be desired. I think each franchise is  independently owned but I don't think I will be visiting another Auntie Anne's anytime soon.  I'm just saying. I got issues, what about you?)i(

Walmart's Refunf Policy

 

Did a price adjustment on an item I used split payment the other day. Walmart associate tried to give me a gift card claiming the system won't let him put it back on either card.    However on my insistence the manager was able to refund the amount to one of the cards used to make the purchase. A few days later I witnessed a customer with the exact issue being told she would have to accept a gift card because the system would not allow him to put the refund on either of the cards she paid with. The customer rejected the gift card and left with the item. Attempts to educate him on the possibility to override the system and force the refund onto one of the cards was met with hostility.

Walmart needs to educate it's managers across stores to 1: offer exceptional customer service and 2: to allow customers to receive refunds in the method of payment, split payment or otherwise. Forcing a customer to accept a gift card when the method of payment was a credit card is unfair. While they may very well shop at a Walmart in the very near future, they don't know what expenses the customer has. Bottomline customers should get their refund in the method they paid. I understand with cash purchases with no receipt there may be conditions but if the method of payment is clearly a credit card, split payment or not, they should  get the refund back to one of those cards if not both. Be a Leader not a Borrower

 

Over the years I have prayed to be a lender not a borrower. In time it has become my reality. Friends and family seem to think I am rich. Mostly because they don't ever hear me complaining about finances and I no longer bother them for financial help. When people ask me to loan them money, I do. At times, if it is a small amount I just give it away but if they insist it is a loan, then  I expect to get repaid So while I lend money freely without reservation, I can't seem to get people to pay me back. I get the usual excuses ie I will pay you back when I get my paycheck or I will pay you back next week but they don't. Listen if they would give me $5 a week, they could pay me back sooner than later. 

What some people don't seem to understand is that money flows when you let it go. The more you give, the mire you get. It is one of the principles of the universe. If your hand is closed and you only open it to receive then you are blocking your energy. Money won't flow to you and if it does, it will quickly leave you hands. Stop being stingy. Pay your bills and repay people when you borrow from them!! My mother ised to say, "if you have two dollars and owe $2, you have no money." Anytime you release money, it will come back to you.  

On another note if you already know you cannot afford to pay the money back, then ask if they can give it to you. Let them decide what they can afford to give you. Likewise if you know you can give them the money then just give it with no expectations of getting it back. if you expect to be paid back and you already know they are not good for it and you need it back, then gracefully say no to their request. You only get one chance to screw me over. Once I realize that you are not someone who pays their debt I will never lend you money again. Not to say I would not gift it if circumstances allow.

Remember what you give freely will always come back to you no matter the situation. lend or give, it comes back. Purpose in your heart to be a lender not a borrower. I'm just saying. I got issues, what about you? )i(

Governor Kemp $350 Georgia Stimulus Payment

 

Governor Brian Kemp announced that he's giving needy families in Georgia $350 starting this week. it looks like the method by which he is given the payment out is via electronic credit card or an actual credit card depending on how the participants are registered in the portal. Either way it's going to create a problem when they try to use it. First of all they cannot withdraw any money from the card. They cannot deposit the money into their Bank account. They can only use it where Apple pay and Google pay is accepted and perhaps even their Walmart pay. outside of that people who get the electronic card will have to be savvy enough to know how to use it in order to cash it in. Seems like this is a ploy to keep much of the money on the table as a lot of the recipients will not be able to access or utilize that money based on what I've seen and read.

I called the governor's office to voice my concern and was told by his representative that the person who does receive a hard card in the mail will be able to go to an ATM and withdraw that money. However information that I have seen online from various sources including patch.com

indicates that is not the case. There is no way to withdraw cash money either electronically or via the hard card that would be useful or beneficial for the people receiving it in order to pay their rent or utilities. Thus creating a hardship. Perhaps I am missing something but it seems to me that if the Governor really want to help the needy families in Georgia he would have adopted the same protocol as the Federal Government where they did direct deposit into people's bank accounts or sent them a check in the mail. I'm just saying - I got issues. What about you?)i(

You got the power to change your life

 

It is a great day to be alive. So many wonderful things to see and do. Unfortunately too many of us spend our days worrying about stuff we have no control over, ie who likes or don't like us, trying to find a good job, how to pay a past due bill etc. and miss the opportunity to really enjoy life.

If I can offer one piece of advice that can be applied to your whole Be-ing it is to know exactly what it is you truly want in this life, i.e. prefect job, perfect partner, being debt free etc. Once you have a clear picture of what that would look like, start feeling the way you would feel if that shit was true. I mean go to sleep at night as if he/she is right there with you. Feel the security of knowing your bills are all paid off and you owe nothing to no one but to love them.  Feel as though you already have what you want and how that would make you feel. If it is a new job, Imagine working at the perfect job with everything you can imagine in place. Then fall asleep at night playing a typical day at work in your mind. Hear the things you want to hear. See things happening the way you want it to happen and feel good as you drift off to sleep. Do that every night and trust me it will become your reality. 

It is not your job to make it happen. The details of how it will come about is not your business . Your only job/task is to feel good like the shit already happened/is in place. Then wait for it.  You may get inspired to take a different route to work and happen upon the perfect person and or job opportunity. Or you may see or hear something that pushes you in the direction of your desire to be debt free or whatever it is you desire. The trick is to don't let yourself get hung up on the details of how or when it will happen. Just know that it will happen. 

This is how I live my life. I know my perfect partner is making his way towards me so I no longer waste my time trying to make it happen nor do I waste any time on the seemingly lacks in my life. As I released the reins, something wonderful happened -  I discovered how stressfree life can be. I have more brain energy to focus on what really matters - letting my happiness flow from within. My happiness is no longer tied to a person, place or thing. What I thought I needed to make me happy is really not necessary at all as I can be happy without them. So while I would still like them, it is more for the experience and not so much for my happiness because I am already happy. I'm just saying, I got issues. What about you?)i(

Do not Conform/Assimilate

It is a beautiful day to be alive. This year alone I have lost over a half a dozen friends and acquaintances to death and it's only August.  Oddly enough they all passed due to some illness or just failed to wake up. And yet I am still  surrounded by more who are suffering from various illness. Attempts to share with them how to heal themselves is met with much resistance. So I will let them be and focus on me and reflect on how I can be a more healthier me.  

Reflecting makes me more determined to continue to take good care of myself so that I will not become a burden on my children. In fact I am more committed now more than ever to embracing my lifestyle more intensely. 

I have a fairly quiet lifestyle, although some days can be hectic and  exhausting at times, but it is one that serves me, not the other way around. I sleep until I wake up then I do what I am inspired to do, not motivated to do. Here's the difference. Inspiration comes from within and requires very little effort on my part but always succeeds while motivation comes from without, requires great effort, and may or may not succeed depending on my motivational levels.  

Since I lost my job in 2011 I have adapted to a more suitable way of life. In the beginning it was due to some health challenges and a couple of car accidents, but the past 5 years have been by design. People speak of imitating a certainty type of  lifestyle i.e. Rastafarianism, Christianity, Judaism, etc. but for me it is more than that. Demographics and cultural conditioning may cause one to adopt certain lifestyle habits, but consciousness/awakening will cause one to evolve into one's true nature/self. Free from the cumbersome things that can weigh heavy on the mind thus causing dis-ease in the body resulting in some form of illness. That is what happened to me. As I learned to embrace my true self, something wonderful happened. I became whole and my happiness and joy flowed from within. For me, this is who I am naturally and not what I was conditioned to be. Conditioning would have me staying up nights worrying about things I cannot control.  It would have me looking haggard and old. I denounce conditioning.  I do not imitate nor do I assimilate. I no longer conform to what society says I should or should not do.  I conform to what the Universe says I am. I live my life by the principles set forth by the Universe, not by man. Oddly enough man has adopted some of the Universe's principles and presented them in a way that restricts the benefits through something called religion. As such people have been misled to think they can only access these benefits if they follow the rules set forth in the Bible. Lots of restrictions come with that way of thinking.  A thinking which construes and limits one's ability to truly live one's life as the Creator intended. It is a kin to mental slavery. Bob Marley said it best "emancipate yourself from mental slavery. None but ourselves can free our minds". I have listened to Bob Marley's songs for years and can even sing the words by heart but it was not until my awakening did I truly understand what he was talking about. With that understanding came clarity. With clarity came a change and that change caused me to evolve into the true meaning of my name  - "Right and Proper". There is no other way for me to be.

People may not understand who I have evolved into. Some have said that I have strayed away from God and no longer believe. Some say I have an "unfamiliar spirit" on me and no longer want to associate with me because they have been conditioned to believe that an "unfamiliar spirit" is evil.  To them I say you are so wrong. Fact is I have gotten closer to God and that "unfamiliar spirit" they refer to is my true self emerging. Truth is I have tapped into God. Coming into knowing who I am and the power that comes from knowing who I am is worth the time I took to get here and the people I have lost. That glow you see on my face is the essence of pure happiness. 

They say the camera captures your spirit. Well take a good look at my image. Can you see happiness and joy? That my friends is that unfamiliar spirit. Unfamiliar because not too many people have it. 

I encourage you to seek happiness and joy that comes from within. It is life changing. I'm just saying - I got issues, what about you?)i(
